With a slew of sold-out performances under their belt, the Sydney trailblazers return to the stage with a two-night concert event this October, building upon their reputation for reinventing the experience of live orchestral music yet again. Held in the bowels of Sydney’s iconic Town Hall, each night presents a completely different program of music, both with their own unique identity & intention. Friday’s program, Wake Up & Die, explores humanity’s relationship to death and the afterlife, set in low lighting, featuring bold contemporary classical compositions; Saturday’s show, Symphony In The Round, places the audience inside the orchestra for a rare immersive experience as they perform a masterpiece from one of the greatest composers in history.

 Ensemble Apex acknowledges the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation, the traditional owners of the land on which we work and perform. We would like to extend these respects to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
